NETWORK ENGINEER

Position Overview:


iTrust Human Capital Management is seeking highly skilled and experienced Network Engineers to join our network to learn more about the opportunity to provide top-tier engineering support for our government client systems in the DMV area. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in network design, implementation, and optimization, with a focus on ensuring performance, reliability, and security.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, configure, and maintain both physical and virtual network systems to meet organizational needs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network issues to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Implement and manage network security measures to safeguard network infrastructure.
  • Provide network design, configuration, and performance support to System Evaluators and Test Engineers for planned and scheduled events.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to support ongoing projects and align network infrastructure with organizational objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and VPN.
  • Utilize and manage networking hardware from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, or Arista.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in any field (technology-related preferred) with a minimum of 5 years of experience in network administration; or 7 years of experience in network administration.
  • Current DoD Baseline Certification at IAT Level II or higher.
  • Proficiency in networking protocols and experience with networking hardware.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve network issues efficiently.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain access to agency facilities and computer systems for the duration of the contract.
  • Current DoD Top Secret Security Clearance and SCI eligible
Additional Requirements:
  • Ability to work on-site at our clients DMV locations.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
