Database Administrator

Position Overview

iTrust Human Capital Management is seeking a Database Administrator to support our client's mission-critical systems. This role focuses on managing multiple database platforms including Microsoft SQL Server, MariaDB, and Postgres.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain database scripts for dumps and loads
  • Perform essential maintenance tasks:
    • Index rebuilding
    • Statistics updates
    • Transaction logging
    • Performance tuning
  • Ensure database integrity, security, and availability
  • Execute disaster recovery procedures
  • Conduct performance analysis
  • Evaluate and recommend database management systems
  • Administer database and application servers
  • Optimize data organization for efficient queries

Required Qualifications

Technical Expertise
  • Experience with:
    • Microsoft SQL Server
    • MariaDB
    • Postgres
    • Bash scripting
  • Database administration background
  • Performance tuning knowledge
  • Security compliance understanding
  • TS/SCI+FS Poly
