Position Overview

iTrust Human Capital Management is seeking a Test Engineer for our client, a leading government contractor. This role focuses on automated software testing across multiple telephony and networking hardware platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate requirement-based test cases
  • Perform baseline, system, and regression testing
  • Analyze large log data sets and test results
  • Create comprehensive test documentation:
    • Test plans
    • Requirements verification matrices
    • Test summary reports
  • Develop and maintain test environments
  • Manage discrepancy reports

Required Qualifications

Security Requirements
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Active TS/SCI+FSP Clearance
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in:
    • Mathematics
    • Science
    • Engineering
    • Statistics
    • Engineering Management
    • Related discipline
  • Note: Four years of additional Test Engineering experience may substitute for degree
  • 5+ years test engineering experience
Technical Requirements
  • Strong Python programming skills
  • Script development and regular expressions expertise
  • Network configuration and test bed integration
  • Test scenario creation and analysis
  • Lab environment development across various hardware platforms
Preferred Skills
  • Jenkins or other CI Framework experience
  • PyTest automation framework knowledge
